Getting Started on the Christmas Fun

Part of our list was getting the house ready for Christmas, but by Saturday after a busy turkey day and two full days of list crossing off, we were all ready for some fun!  So we met up with some friends for Sushi and then headed out to Silveyville Tree Farm.  Thomas reaction, "oh good!!  I've been waiting forever for this!!" And after he announced that it was as fun as he thought it would be!

We went out to Silveyville last year, but didn't really take advantage of all the fun stuff.  It was pretty busy, full of people playing, eating the free popcorn all snuggled around the fire and getting their trees.  It is a tree farm where you can go and cut down your own tree.  We opt out of that and stick with our OSH parking lot tree, but it sure is fun to walk through the trees smelling in all their goodness!!

Thomas loved all the trees and found so many ones he liked!

He just discovered Sonic the Hedgehog thanks to a friend at school.  He wanted to run "sonic fast" through the trees, up and down the aisles.

Ben simply wanted to push the stroller all by himself.

We stood here and watched the quads pulling trees go by and their little sleigh/wagon ride go by as well.

A favorite spot for the boys.  All sorts of hanging metal that you can bang away at.

Then we climbed the hay horses and rode for awhile.  Ben's rediscovered his tongue.... he cracks us up!

Family shot for the fun day!

It was so good to get out as a family and just have fun!!  It was a great couple days off together to just enjoy the boys as they are growing up, play a lot, cross a bunch of things off and just feel the blessings of all that God has given us!!  We even took the boys out for a late night dip in the hot tub!!  They thought it was pretty cool to be out back, in the dark, at bedtime.  A super crazy-cool treat!
