My Birthday, Mother's Day & Father's Day

So, Easter Sunday was also my birthday. The older I get, the less excited I get for it to come. It just kind of surprised me this year. I was more than happy to focus on Easter more than turning 31. However, Jared's birthday was the weekend before, so he and I went out Saturday night for dinner just the two of us. He even gave me my present that night. We had agreed on small $20 gifts since we had just gone to Disneyland. I stuck to it... he got a day out shooting with the guys. A whole day, I thought that was pretty good!! Well, he got me a whole big Kindle!! I'm loving it. I feel all techy! I never get the tech gifts, but am loving this one!

So, Easter Sunday we celebrated mine and Jared's birthday with my parents (we had done the same with j's parents the weekend before, but were excited they could join us to celebrate easter and more birthdays!). Before we could open our gifts however, we celebrated mother's day and father's day with my parents. They got their gifts early because we are taking family pictures all together! Super excited about that!!!
Thomas was waiting ever so patiently to help me open my gifts. I got this great bag for Bible Study!! It's been great to have. We also got money to go towards patio furniture, a beverage container for large parties, bbq tools and my sister thought she was so funny.... she got, well re-gift me a gift for people over 30. haha! she pulled it off my parents shelf. it's been there for at least 20 years and never been played.

It was a great birthday, celebrating a great year. I'm excited for the one to come... all though it could slow down a little!
