A Family First

This last weekend we went to our first concert as a family. A bunch of bands, including Mercy Me and Jars of Clay, got together for what they called Rock and Worship Road Show. It was great!! The tickets were just $10, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity, when the Crouch Family suggested it.

Thomas was so excited to go to his first concert and enjoy it he did. I wish I could have gotten a picture of him raising his hands, clapping and screaming "woo hoo". Unfortunately, the concert didn't start until 8pm and it was daylight savings time. We stuck around until almost 11 and Mercy Me had just begun. By then Thomas had been asleep for almost an hour and we had to rescue Grandma and Grandpa from the sleeping Benjamin. : ) The concert ended up going until almost 12 and we missed some awesome songs and great stories about their songs. Oh well... next time for sure!

Our view! (not too bad considering we got there right when the doors opened and others had been in line for hours. the arena was packed. so much so they had to turn people away.)
