Bathroom Tear Out

I've been dying to share pictures from our bathroom re-model, but am holding out until it's all done. I have this crazy need to do before and after pictures of everything, therefore I have to wait until all the after pictures have been taken. But in the meantime, here's the whole family and lots of friends at work tearing everything out!!

Thomas wanted in on every step of the action~ Here he is with the mirror tracks from the wall. Just after this he tore out a whole strip of the nasty plastic base board all by himself! He's using those manly muscles already!!

That water was NASTY!!! It's what came out of the pipes. So gross, I had to get a picture!

No Scott, not the beams!!! : ) This our friend and amazing tile guy! He wanted in on the fun of the tear out.
I HATED our vanity. It was dirty, ugly and had no storage. Both Dad and Jared knew how I felt about it, so they called me in to cut it in half so they could get it out. I even helped carry it out of the house!

The Shower wall making its way to the trash!
There's Thomas again! Dad was here to help with every step of the way! They were getting all the plumbing disconnected.

Saturday morning breakfast! I started off the projected making Breakfast Burritos. The men needed their strength. Thomas was excited to be a part of the man crew and get his good, strong, man food as well.

The fun part was the mess on the bed!! It's all cleaned out and put away know. In the background you can see the strongest men in my life, that thing was heavy! Dad shouldn't have been helping with this part, but there's no keeping that man down!

Again, Dad and his creative handy-work at work. He and I finished the vanity for the bathroom. The doors needed to be sprayed with the clear coat and couldn't have finger prints. It worked perfectly until the wind kicked up!

The three parts of the vanity stained by my dad and I. We bought kitchen cabinets off the floor at Lowes. The total (since they were unfinished and a model they were clearing out) was $331. Had we bought bathroom vanities to fit our awkward length bathroom, it would have cost about $1000!!! It also would have looked awkward because the measurements wouldn't work out perfectly.
Can't wait to show the finished work!!
