Christmas Day

Christmas morning was tons of fun! Thomas, as always, woke up early ready to go. He came and snuggled with us in bed, seeming to have forgotten all about the presents waiting for him to open. He shortly remembered with a little hint and present opening began just before 7 am. Before we could open anything, he had to put the Buzz wings back on. Those big things, made opening extra fun!! He again, loved everything he opened and couldn't wait to play with most things.
The sweetest thing was finding the last present hidden in the tree. Since we started asking him what he wanted all he replied was a "Doggy toy for Bailey!" Of course we obliged. He found that gift tucked away in the tree and was so excited to give it to Bailey. Bailey, also, was thrilled!
Shortly after presents were opened, we got dressed and ready, loaded up the car and headed down the freeway to Brisbane. We met up with Jared's parents for Christmas dinner at their church. It was a wonderful dinner and a great time visiting with the members of the church where Jared grew up. Later we headed to Pacifica to spend a couple days with Jared's parents.

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by family and friends that love Jesus. Together we had a wonderful time celebrating his birth.
