A Polka-Dot Project

A couple of weeks ago now I had the fun of helping a friend paint her daughter's bedroom. I had been talking with her girls about re-doing it and what they would want to do and so when her husband and three girls were going to be gone for a few days, she jumped on it and I jumped on in with her! What fun we had. It was great to paint and chat and chat and then paint some more. This friend has become so precious to my heart. She challenges me, makes me think and evaluate why I think what I do and what I'm going to do about. She has given me countless hours of advice on Thomas, Jared and friendships. Help mold my thinking and my heart to follow God and His will and desire for me. Such a blessing!!! I love to be challenged, I believe that is when we all grow the most, and challenge me she has! I pray I can be at least half the encouragment to her that she has been to me! But, back to the painting... it turned out awesome! We have both been told to work on not being so proud about it, but it really is cute! She had great ideas going around in her head and we worked them all out and as a result got this beautiful result! Her daughters love it! Check out the bedding. It was bought after the design and the paint was on the wall, it's perfect! There is still a curtain to come and bulletin boards to come and of course, the inspiring artwork to be hung!

Thanks for letting me be a part of the fun!!
