Here he is playing one of his favorite games, "stuck." He will get himself or one of his stuffed toys stuck just about anywhere. This is a puzzle stacker and he will tunnel through it pretending to get stuck on the way through.
Here he is with cheesy fingers after a special treat of Cheetos. He had been holding his fingers next to his face saying cheese!! It was hilarious. Totally unprompted. He is developing his own sense of humor with the little things he's heard us or friends say. Most times things he comes up with leaves us wondering where he got it from.
Here he is with another special snack, popcorn. Often times on Sunday afternoons we'll eat a bowl of popcorn together and watch a movie or episode of VeggieTales. Last night, he claimed the bowl for himself and curled up on the sofa and kicked back. Such a big boy!!
He really is growing up fast and I've found myself wondering how I got to be the mother of a toddler. It's crazy that he can talk back and almost hold a conversation. He really is starting to show his own personality, humor and strong will. It's a joy to watch and a challenge knowing that he's a little guy we're responsible for. It's up to us to train him and shape him, to teach him how to use his talents and personality to glorify the Lord. Only by His grace and prayers we'll be able to do it. One day at a time!
