Big Boy Bed

T's now sleeping like the big boys, well at least the toddler sized ones! We took off his crib front and replaced it with the toddler rail just over a week ago. He's done great and loves his new found freedom. Since we took it off he's only gotten out before actually sleeping twice and fallen out twice. He learns quickly. Before he figured out that he could open his own door he would knock from the inside until we came to rescue him. Now when he's awake in the morning or after naptime, he quietly opens his door, peaks out and then comes running. It is so sweet to hear those little feet coming. (Yes, even if it's at his new wake up time of 6:30) He usually announces that bear opened the door and then returns to his bed for the rest of the gang. He is even much happier going to sleep at naptime. He gladly crawls up, tucks his toes under the blanket and waits for me to cover him to his nose, then scouches back up so I can read him a story. He looks so sweet surrounded by his stuffed animals with a gleeful smile on his face. I wish I could capture that forever!!
