Christmas Celebration, Part 2

Sunday we celebrated Christmas in Roseville with the Stansberry's and what a celebration it was!! Before we headed up there, we were at our church here in Roseville. It was a beautiful service, full of music and a great reminder of the gift we received from our God, his son. We were reminded of the lowly way he came humbly to earth full of Deity. He came to die. It was a challenging, encouraging and inspiring message. A great way to start the week. I pray that amidst the excitement we stop and remember how truly gracious our heavenly Father is.
We were at my parents house with Grandma and Alice, Ross & Audra and then the three of us. Dad fixed a Prime Rib dinner, complete with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, smashed yummy-licous sweet potatoes, ambrosia and fancy drinks. It was delicious!! Following dinner, it was time for presents!! What a load! Thomas loved every moment of it. He was able to open all of his gifts and kept going back to the biggest one that we just wouldn't let him get into. Finally, when everything else was done, we let him at it. It was a Harley Davidson trike, complete with helmet. He loved it. The cutest part was after he had tried it, gone onto other things he walked over to the trike, stopped, turned around, found his helmet, put it on his head and returned to the bike. Safety-minded already!!
We had a great time watching him play with Great Grandma, fix her walker with his new tools, pester Papa as he tried to take a nap and eat his cookies. It was a day full of great memories and generosity from my parents. They have once again blessed us tremendously!
