A Happy Clothes Washing Woman

Today was one of those days mothers do not look forward to... the day the washing machine is declared unfixable, dead and in need of replacing. Today was that day for me.

We have now been without a working machine for several days so are in desparate need of it's service's. Dan (the appliance man, highly recommend him to all you Vacavillian's) sent us to Chuck, at Lowes (again, highly recommend him) because he and his son laughed at the pitiful state of our machine, as it sounded more like an airplane than a washing machine.

So off we went to find Chuck.

While waiting for him I was re-introduced to a long, lost friend. The Fridgidare version of my perfect, quite, large capacity, front loading machine. I feel in love. I've spent many clothes washing moments missing my old machine. Chuck agreed that it was a good one to go with. Great company. Great machine. Least expensive. We heard enough!! Jared gave the go ahead, being the loving husband he is. Then we got the bad news. There were none in stock... I had to wait a week!! Then, Dad came to the rescue once again. They had them in Roseville. So, Dad, being the dad he is, headed to Lowes (at 6:30 pm, with an hours drive ahead of him), picked it up and headed down the freeway, my new friend in tow. My two favorite men then installed it and got it up and running.

I sit here as a very loved and very happy wife and daughter listening to the quiet hum of my clothes washing machine! it's the little things....
