Vacaville Discoveries

We've been in Vacaville for almost 4 years now and I'm still finding things to discover!! I am so thankful for my mother-in-law because most of them are because of her love of the outdoors and fun things to do. She was a school teacher for many years and Jared has often told me of their many adventures in the name of education and discovery.

Last week, knowing how she enjoys an adventure, I decided it was about time I check out Larry's Produce stand, a local favorite. It's way out in the middle of no where with great fresh produce and prices you can't beat, as I have heard for at least 2 years now. The stories were true. The produce was fresh and beautiful and the place was crawling with people on a Wednesday afternoon at lunchtime. (and it was way to far out for people to just pop by on their lunch break!)

We had a blast. Linda pushed a curious Benjamin around in the stroller, while Thomas and I pushed around a wheel barrel to gather our goods in. We found all sorts of great deals! Cherries, apples, peaches, plums, makings for some fresh salsa and the cheapest, most delicious berries ever!!
We found this great tractor out in back near the fields, along with this fun chicken we just had to get a picture with!

Thanks Linda, for helping encourage our sense of adventure!
