This is my molly
she's my cousin
she's my best friend
she's my encourager
she calls me on my junk
she makes me laugh
she cries with me
she's always been there and she always will be.
molly and i have walked through life together. i don't remember life with out her. we grew up on the same street, separated by 6 houses. we played together almost daily. after school i waited impatiently until she got home. in the summer we lived at one another's house. as we grew up, we shopped together, dreamt about boys and were just silly. in college we continued to talk, but for the first time in our lives, lived in different cities. we chatted when we could, but it wasn't the same.
as we became adults, we celebrated college graduations, engagements and then weddings, just 7 months apart. we welcomed our babies into the world together.
now, still living in separate cities, we continue to live life together. she teaches me to slow down and to try to live a healthy life style. she reminds me to pray. together we always find the silver lining. we trade mommy stories, the good and the bad.
we've both entered our 30's and have so much ahead. wrinkles, age spots, school with the kids, birthday parties and so much more. someday we will make it to new york!!
molly is my friend, one God gave me to walk through life with. i'm thankful for her smile, her contagious laughter, the tone in her voice when she's about to tell me the truth and her honest opinion.
thank you for being my molly! i love you!
