More Fun with Cousins

A couple of weeks ago, Thomas was so excited to spend a couple of days with his cousins. He waited ever impatiently for his cousins to arrive, counting down the days. Finally the arrived and he couldn't wait to get to Grandma and Grandpa Matlocks. I dropped him off Wednesday morning while I went to Bible Study. In the afternoon, Grandma brought the girls and Thomas back home. So we had K (10), A (9), A (3), Thomas (3) and Benjamin. It was a busy afternoon!!
We filled the time with some rest time for a show (they were at several parks in the morning) and then made some Pizza Dough!! I had the two 3 year olds helping with that (that was an experience!!). They had a great time measuring and watching the mixer. Then the older girls got to make the pizzas. Dinner was a blast with a full table, lots of noise and fun conversation.

After dinner, the kids had a great time decorating the diaper box and then seeing who all could fit inside!

Then on to the train. the girls managed to use almost every piece of track in the box and we spent about an hour playing with it. This was B's first experience breaking into the big kid fun. I'm still seeing just how much he can interrupt, much to big brothers frustration and his own joy!!
The next day, we went back to Grandma's for lunch and then a trip to the Jelly Belly factory for a tour. Grandma and Grandpa stayed home with Benjamin and I took the kids. We had a great time!

What fun having a car load of kids! I loved chatting with the girls and just getting to know them more. They are all such sweet hearts!

Later that night,we stayed for dinner! Yumm-o! I loved seeing the girls play with Benjamin, they were so sweet! Check out Aubree's french braid. I had so much fun teaching them how to french braid each other's hair! I've always loved getting to "play hair" with them when they were younger and now teach them a few tricks (especially since I don't have girls around!)

After dinner I caught everyone reading! Grandpa in his chair, the three year olds on the floor checking out a stack of books and Benjamin trying to check things out as well!
It was great getting to spend some time with these wonderful girls. We missed having Drake around, but look forward to seeing him next time. We can't wait to all be together again this summer at Mt. Hermon!!
