Happy Easter

This Easter we celebrated at Brisbane Community Church. The church where Jared grew up and his dad is the pastor. It's always such a joy to be in that church. I love being surrounded by people that have know Jared since he was 8 years old. They are such a loving and sweet group of people. Jared's dad preached a great sermon on the importance of the resurrection. He reminded us that our joy and salvation are great because Christ did rise on the 3rd day, just as He said He would. Praise the Lord!!!

Thomas had a great time in Sunday School playing with his friends at Grandma and Grandpa's church. He made a craft and got yummy treats. He also was very excited to tell me about the singing and about the drum that was used. He also got to meet a special family friend that he had yet to met! He looked so darling all dressed up for Easter, unfortunately this is the only picture that I got. I'm hoping Grandma got a few more!! Anyhow, here's the family. You can finally see my growing belly!

We had spent the night at Jared's parents house and Thomas loves that. Grandma laid in bed with him for a long time reading the Easter Story and lots more. He thought that was a special treat!

In the morning he got to go on another Easter Egg hunt. Grandma had lots of fun filling eggs with chalk, other toys and even her special chick from when she was a little girl. Lots of the eggs were even full of money! Jared had fun hiding them the night before and Thomas had fun searching the house in the morning!
