The Attack of the Praying Mantis

Jared came running in the our room the other night telling me about the bug that just attacked him, it was a praying mantis. You see, Bailey (our dog) wants to go in and out all night, so inorder to spare our sanity, sometimes the door outside just gets left open. When Jared sat down to check his email before going to bed, he discovered why we shouldn't leave the door open! I came out and sure enough, there it was!

We snapped a could of pictures, caught him in a box and throw him outside.

We were pleasantly surprised, now that he was outside, to find him still there the next morning where Thomas could inspect him. Our first science expedition!
