A Veggie-Style Birthday

I had so much fun getting ready for Thomas' 2nd bday party. We went all out and did everything in theme. Thomas went nuts with every new thing that was added and just simply understand why he couldn't hold and play with everything "Bob & Larry."



So to get everyone excited about the party and about the theme, the invitations were sent out! Also included a request to come dressed as your favorite veggie!


At the party we had lots of veggie friends. Below is a picture of some of them (sorry it's sideways). They all got to hide in the backyard for the kids to come and find them. It was hilarious, Jared found some great spots for them. Once the kids had theirs, they turned it in for a prize. I wasn't quite able to figure out how to get the kids to only find one though... oh well! After the hunt, they all played a relay race style game called, "Bring the Veggies Home."
Auntie & Mommy designed the cakes after Larry, Bob & the French Peas. I actually baked, helped Audra build them and then she went to town. They were a hit!

As the guests arrived they all stoped for a photo op with the Veggies, who were there waiting to welcome them!

All in all, it was a great day! Thomas had a great time and his friends enjoyed themselves as well! He recieved some great presents that he loves and plays with everyday!
