Please tell me I'm not the only one

Thomas is a sneaky little boy, I know he's not the only one. That would mean I'm not the only one. Not the only one, that is, that does her make-up oblivious to the fact that her little boy snuck out the garage and down the street. Right?
Let me explain, justify, ease your mind, make me feel less guilty... however you want to put it, here's the story!

It was time to get ready for the day. Thomas job while I do my make-up is to "brush" his teeth and make funny faces in the mirror. Today, his stool was missing so I sent him and Bailey off to get it. They didn't return right away. No biggie, he probably got distracted by Curious George playing in the family room. Few moments later, he still had not returned. No biggie, all the doors were locked. Few moments later, it's awfully quiet, I better check on them. Walk to the front of the house, the doorbell rings, my stomach drops. I remember. The garage door was open!! Our wonderful neighbor was at the door to tell me my little one was out front! I ran back in the house to check the garage door because the other neighbor lady thought she saw him crawl back in. As I'm racing through the house, heart in my stomach, horrible thoughts racing through my head, but I hear him say mommy as I open the door from the house to the garage. He smiles and informs me about the grass. I head back out front and reassure the neighbor all is well and thank him a million times for coming to our rescue. Then collapse on the step thanking God for his protection, hug by baby.
However, Thomas didn't see the need for hugging because he had a story to tell me as I asked what in the world he had done. He simply pointed and said, "Bailey, grass"
So the story is that Bailey crawled out the door for an adventure, after being let into the garage from the house by Thomas, Thomas followed and then came back under the door to tell me Bailey had run away. Praise the Lord he didn't follow Bailey!!
For all you grandparents out there, have no fear I learned a lesson! Mothers of little ones here are the Lessons Learned: Lock ALL the doors, never leave the garage door open, even for a little air, set the "chime" on the alarm and know that God is our protector. Thomas now knows that he is never, never, never to go into the garage without and never to go out front without me.
I'm not the only one, right?!
