This last Thursday Thomas got his first haircut. It was quite an experience. For this special day we drove all the way to Fremont just to see Auntie Bonnie for the occassion. We met Timmy and Molly at the shop and Thomas was able to see Timmy get his hair cut first. Both boys got all ready in their robes and waited their turns. It made go a little extra smoothly seeing Timmy get his hair cut first. I think it made it a little less scary! Soon it was his turn and all went realitivily smoothly. He was ok to be in the special chair, but not ok when Auntie Bonnie began to spray his head, he freaked! She, being the professional went right along with it. She sparyed Mickey, Buzz got sprayed, then Timmy and even Mommy got sprayed. He was laughing by the time she got back to him. Then the scissors came out and again the tears came. The show began. Mommy's there with smiles, Timmy's there to talk with and then there was the lady with the puppy. She pulled her out of her cage and Thomas, now smiling and feeding the puppy treats, was calm enough for Bonnie to snip away. It was pretty much smooth sailing from then on. As soon as he stepped out of the chair, Timmy was their to see, but more importantly to lead the way to the treats. They each were given M&M minis and Ring-pop's and got to take over the TV with cartoons. They were happy to hang out enjoying their treats while I got my haircut and Auntie "B" was there to wipe up the stickies, which I might add was not an easy job. Notice below Thomas is with out a shirt. Both boys were first covered in sucker stickies, then cleaned up. Then enjoyed their M&M's to their fullest, and were then a chocolate covered mess. Again, Molly cleaned them both up. Quite a task, two toddlers means twice the stickiness and twice the squirminess! (Thank you Molly!!!!) It was a great afternoon. Thank you Auntie Bonnie for his precious haircut and for opening up your shop for the boys to have fun!
