A Sneaky Prayer

So, Thomas has been praying "with" us at the dinner table for several months now. This started with bowing his head and then moved on to holding hands and then saying amen. Generally he continues to eat dinner while we pray, but lately he has waited for the "Amen" to begin. It's pretty sweet. He bows his head, but continues to look up to see what we are doing, then closes his eyes. Last night, however, he bowed his head, we bowed ours and then checked him. He was peeking around, put his eyes down and with a very sneaky look on his face, reached up grab a noodle and stuck it in his mouth. He totally knew what he was doing! So we've got the motion down, now we just need to work on the heart. : )
