Maybe Santa's Not So Bad Afterall

Yesturday we took another trip to the mall and while we were there we stopped by to see Santa. Thankfully, because it's not even Thanksgiving, the line is non-existant. We were able to walk right up to see the jolly man. Thomas was pretty nervous and started up with the "no, Santa, no...", but this time he didn't bury his head. So, Jared jumped on this and when Santa offered a toy Jared walked right over. Thomas didn't complain. Santa handed Thomas the toy and Thomas took it from Santa. Jared asked if he wanted to sit with Santa, and again with the no's, but this time he was still looking at Santa. This was the nicest Santa, he sat there and read Thomas a whole book!! This time Thomas gave him a high 5 and a handshake and again remembered his "please" and "thank you's.". We thought we'ld made it, so tried for the sitting next to Santa. That was a no go!! He started saying bye Santa and at that point he'ld had enough. We're getting closer! I'm not too determined to get the picture, but it is fun to see the progress!! If we get one, great, if not, well, it's $20 I'ld rather keep in my own pocket!
